2/19/2008 - SharpDevelop 3.0 Beta 1
The first Beta of SharpDevelop targeting.NET Framework 3.5 is available. Details can be found in the
release announcement.
8/8/2007 - SharpDevelop 2.2.1
Version 2.2.1 contains many smaller fixes to e.g. the parsing engine, project subsystem or templates. Also included
is SDR 2.2.0.235 as well as NUnit 2.4.2. It is recommended that you upgrade to this point release.
6/28/2007 - SharpDevelop 2.2
SharpDevelop 2.2 is a bug fix release. It is fully compatible with 2.1, which means that all
addins built against v2.1 will continue to work unmodified in 2.2. Please note that setup overwrites
existing 2.1 installations, however, will preserve users settings from the old installation.
3/7/2007 - SharpDevelop 2.1 Final
The final version of SharpDevelop 2.1 has been released. Matt compiled a list of
new features
to get you up to speed quickly.
2/9/2007 - SharpDevelop 2.1 RC1
SharpDevelop 2.1 has entered release candidate testing with RC1 being available today. Most of the work has been
focused on bug fixing, details on those changes are available in our bug tracker (a short version is in Start Page / History).
If you are using 2.0 today, please consider switching to 2.1 RC1 for your daily work.
Our reporting solution has changed its name from SharpReport to SharpDevelop Reports. If you have been using SDR previously,
please note that the namespaces have changed to reflect the product name change.
12/23/2006 - SharpDevelop 2.1 Beta 3
Beta 3 is the final beta for SharpDevelop 2.1. The upcoming release candidates will focus on bug fixing only, no new features.

9/19/2006 - SharpDevelop2 2.1 Beta 1
We are pleased to deliver the first beta of SharpDevelop2 2.1 codenamed "Serralongue". It contains many new features
as well as improvements for existing ones. We would like to encourage you to install and test drive this new version
as it contains numerous bug fixes over the released 2.0 version.
8/24/2006 - SharpDevelop2 2.0.1 Bugfix Release
This is a maintenance release of SharpDevelop2. It comes with updated translations, backported parser fixes, as well
as one critical project system bugfix. It is recommended that you install this point release.
7/17/2006 - SharpDevelop2 Final
After long and hard work, the SharpDevelop team is proud to announce the availability of
SharpDevelop2 2.0 Final! To get started with all the great features that ship with version

6/5/2006 - SharpDevelop2 RC2
We are now on the home stretch for releasing SharpDevelop2! Today marks the day of RC2, the final release candidate
for SharpDevelop2. Download and install this build onto your machines and take it for a lap. If you find issues, then
please report them in our bug reporting forum.
Please note that not every bug will be resolved for RTM, only those that affect a large user base (“highly visible bugs”).
All bugs not fixed for 2.0 are postponed to later releases, therefore please do take the time and let us know!
5/17/2006 - SharpDevelop2 RC1
The first release candidate has been shipped - a second one will follow before final release.
Expect bug fixes only in this build.
4/12/2006 - SharpDevelop2 Beta 3
SharpDevelop2 has reached its third and final beta. The focus for this release was bug fixing, clean up
and stabilization. We would like to ask you to thoroughly test the integrated debugger and report any
problems to the forums. Next stop: release candidate.
2/14/2006 - #develop 1.1 Final
The release version of #develop 1.1 has arrived, only minor fixes have been incorporated since the December release candidate.
With this release, feature development of the 1.x series has ceased.
2/12/2006 - SharpDevelop2 Beta 2
SharpDevelop2 has reached feature-freeze, which means that no new feature areas will be added –
the feature set is locked down for release. The main focus now is on fixing issues.
Quite a lot of activity was recorded in the change log from Beta 1 to Beta 2. To pick out some
highlights:
- SharpReport ported (including SharpQuery)
- Code Coverage support based on NCover
- PInvoke addin ported
- Support for Web references
- Right-to-left support
- Support for Mono's GAC, Gtk# and Glade# project templates
- Setup ngen's executables for better performance
- HtmlHelp preferences stored
